Junaid Ali is amongst the finer tabla players of the younger generation - who has performed with zerOclassikal as part of our recurring Back to the Lounge series.

Hailing from the East of London, Junaid began his direct tutelage with Ustad Shahbaz Hussain at the age of 19. At 24 years old now, Junaid has had the opportunity to perform with many big names in both the subcontinent and the West. He has been invited to perform at the illustrious Darbar Festival, The All Pakistan Music Conference - Lahore and the All Pakistan Music Conference - Karachi, he also has recorded samples for world famous DJ: Skrillex, for his latest album.
