Bhairavi is a young musician who plays the Veena and has featured in our Back to the Lounge series that provides a platform to emerging SAC artists to showcase their talent and experiment with the genre.

Bhairavi started learning the Veena from her mother and guru Smt Renuka Shriananda from a young age. She completed her Arangetram in 2004 and continues to participate in Carnatic programmes in solo and group performances. She has also played Veena as an accompaniment in Vocal and dance Arangetrams.
